Hello, readers of my new blog! My name is Leslie, and I’m 16 years old. I’ve started this blog because I really want to lose weight, and I figure this is a good way to be accountable for that.
So, a little background on me:
- I’ve been overweight for a long time, but it didn’t truly bother me until I was 11 or 12.
- I was diagnosed with Polycistic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) at 15.
- I have pretty severe anxiety and depression.
- I’m a cancer survivor.
Truthfully, I am bad at staying motivated. I always want to be one of those people who can go to the gym every day and always eat healthy, but that’s never been me. This year I’m going to change that. I’m going to work out every day (at the gym or at home). I’m going to find healthy recipes and eat them and stick to it. I’m going to give weekly updates on this blog (I might even make a fitness Instagram… maybe.)
I’m really excited for this new step in my life, and I hope you guys will help me!
